ViệtUnity South Bay is partnering with the City of San José’s Office of Immigrant Affairs to build leaders for our current and upcoming generations of Vietnamese Americans.

Civic Leaders Academy for Vietnamese Americans is a seven-course workshop series on the most pressing issues in the Vietnamese American community and how you can address them with your local community and at City Hall. Workshop topics include: gender justice, racism, housing, education, immigration and deportation, and more. $100 will be provided upon completion of the program. We will have presentations from local community organizers in the Bay Area as well as from city officials in various departments.

Every Saturday from March 3rd to April 14th from 10:00am – 12:30pm Lunch will be provided. Program will be conducted in English with a Vietnamese interpreter. Child supervision provided. No age limit, but must be at least high school age to apply.
