9/29/16 AB 2792 stipulates that immigrants are informed of their right to refuse interviews with ICE officers while incarcerated. Enforcement agencies are required to have inmates sign written consent form before ICE interview.
Communication between ICE and local law enforcement agencies now subject to public records laws.
