CAIR California is partnering with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to host a Know Your Rights in the Workplace webinar.

This collaboration underscores our commitment to ensuring a discrimination-free work environment for all, especially as we approach Ramadan.

Understanding Your Workplace Rights
Unfortunately, workplace discrimination remains a reality in our community, so this webinar will cover your essential rights as an employee. Whether you face bias based on religion, race, national origin, or any other protected category, understanding your rights is the first step towards safeguarding your dignity and well-being at work.

Navigating Complaints with the EEOC
We will also cover the process of filing complaints with the EEOC and guide you through the steps to take if you believe you’ve experienced workplace discrimination. Knowing how to properly document and report your experiences can make a significant difference in the pursuit of justice.

Religious Accommodations for Ramadan
With Ramadan around the corner, the webinar will also highlight how to request religious accommodations, such as prayer times or fasting considerations, and will explain the legal framework that supports these requests, ensuring you can observe your faith without compromise in your professional environment.
